Couples can be married or in an ongoing relationship to receive treatment and, single women can receive treatment. There is a forty five year old age limit on female IVF patients. Doctors are legally forbidden from working with single women. IVM is available at some clinics.

Egg/Sperm Donation

Sperm and egg donation is permitted. Only anonymous donations are permitted, therefore donations from a family member are not permissible. Legal age limit for egg donors 35, age 55 for sperm donors. Sperm donors and egg donors can only donate to one infertile couple. Embryo donation is permitted, but must be approved by the couple that is donating.


Surrogacy is prohibited by law.
