IVF Clinic in Brno
Arrived in Brno today! We took the bus, had a few mixups finding the station but no big problem. Mom is mad at me for making her get there, with suitcase in tow, via tram & metro but she was a trooper. She is insisting on hiring a car from bus depot to airport on our return trip though! Once in Brno, easy. The bus station is directly across the street from the Grand Hotel, where we are staying, and we are feeling at home now. The city is more of a real city than a tourist attraction, for sure. Not quite so perfectly pretty, and not every menu is in English. But we had a lovely lunch at a Czech restaurant, between our phrase book and the waiter’s English we managed to order vegetarian meals and ate well.
Embryos are hanging in there – still 6! 2 compacted morulas, two 10-cells and two 8-cells. Sounds like I will have my one perfect embie, and some frosties too…. Petra, the donor coordinator, will pick me up at 8:10 tomorrow morning for my appointment.
