Whew, Christmas is over. Events have escalated in the past few weeks. Ella’s health is poor at the moment and has to attend hospital for a heart scan. She was found to have a slow heart rate and atrial fibrillation was mentioned. That will hopefully happen in early January at Yorkhill in Glasgow. I nearly fell to the floor when I got the call from the doctor.
Rather than go to Rotunda in January we’re going to go in March now. That gives time for Ella to make a recovery and join us in the trip.
30 March is Mother’s Day in Scotland. I’m booking our flights for then. We can have baby for next Christmas if all goes well on our first attempt. Was hoping to speak to other IP’s re their experiences, unfortunately haven’t heard back from them.
My niece is home on the island for xmas with her husband and little baby girl Eve. We spent yesterday afternoon with them – it was brilliant holding Eve and changing her nappy 3 times! She’s a fantastic little baby, so good natured. At the back of my mind was the thought “perhaps next year…”.
My nephew Matt cut my hair into a stylish little bob and Ella’s long hair bluntcut and straight while we were there. He got his degree in law and then went into hairdressing!
Hope you all had a happy and peaceful xmas. Another chance for a party next week, New Year’s Eve. Hopeful all our dreams will come through in 2014.
