My Name is Tina, I’m 26 years old, and decided to become a surrogate. I am married and have 2 biological children, a 6 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. Our family has grown and we are currently living in a small apartment. I knew that if I could pursue surrogacy I would be able to make someone else’s life better as well as my own. My interest to be a surrogate was sparked when I had a friend who embarked on her own surrogacy journey. She had great success and was happy with her surrogacy agency, New Life Georgia. I decided to use them as well. I thought this would be a good option for my family as a way for me to make money. It was my idea to do this and I needed to persuade my husband. Once I told him my reasons for this decision, he was able to agree and completely supports me. My children are too young to understand my decision right now, but if my embryo transfer is successful, I will answer their questions as I begin to show.
Now that I am matched with my Intended Parents who are from Britain, I am currently going through the process of preparing my body for the embryo transfer. I am not nervous at all. I’m trying to remain practical over this process and not get too emotionally involved. This was my decision and I am happy about my decision. The stimulation process has gone smoothly, and there are not many physical changes that I am aware of. I’m feeling good, but putting on a bit of weight. Now I wait and hope for a successful transfer and pregnancy. I see this as a means to reach my goal and want to leave the emotional aspect out of it.
