ng the rights of the child and the mother have become a priority for the Indian government. The new Assisted Reproductive Technology Regulation(ART) Bill which has been sent to the Law of Ministry for approval will bar foreign families from hiring surrogacy services in India whose countries don’t permit surrogacy. The law will also mandate children born through ART in India will get citizenship of the foreign country. This law will benefit social, medical and ethical rights of children born to surrogacy.
