GLOBAL IVF MEDIA – Year of the Dragon Baby!
The Year of the Dragon has been named the Year of the Baby! As the Year of the Dragon is traditionally a very auspicious time to have a baby in China, Asian and Asian-American singles and couples are racing to have a Dragon Baby. Having experienced a huge surge of business, top newspapers and news agencies have contacted Global IVF’s founders- and co-presidents of Agency for Surrogacy Solutions, Inc.- to learn more about this exciting fertility trend.
On the first day of the Chinese New Year, Global IVF and Agency for Surrogacy Solutions were featured on the FRONT PAGE on The Wall Street Journal. Since then, the Dragon Baby Boom story has only grown hotter! The companies were also highlighted in a FRONT PAGE Los Angeles Times article. And, our associate agency in Beijing was interviewed for a second Los Angeles Times story! Making it easy to contact Global IVF and Agency for Surrogacy Solutions internationally, our associate agency was the only Chinese business interviewed for the article.
As seen in the video clip below, Kathryn Kaycoff-Manos and Lauri Berger de Brito were also interviewed on NBC TV, along with one of their clients currently hoping for a Dragon Baby.
For Agency for Surrogacy Solutions, Inc. there’s been a 250% increase in Chinese clients in the last two months, and Global IVF has responded to the demand by developing a “Dragon Baby Special,” a program specifically design for intended parents wanting to travel from Asia to the U.S. for IVF/gender selection in the Year of the Dragon.
China banned surrogacy in 2001, making it impossible for women struggling with infertility to legally pursue building their family with the help of a surrogate. In addition, PGD (Pre Genetic Diagnosis) for gender selection is currently prohibited in China. The U.S. based Agency for Surrogacy Solutions, Inc. and Global IVF, Inc. provide personal and full range services for domestic and international couples or singles who cannot conceive on their own or desire the services of a gestational carrier and/or want to do gender selection.
